SRT file structure
An SRT file is a simple text file used for subtitle formatting in videos. It consists of a sequence of subtitle entries, each containing three main parts: a number indicating the order, a time code showing when the subtitle appears and disappears, and the actual text of the subtitle. Each entry is separated by a blank line. The time code is typically in the format of hours, minutes, seconds, and milliseconds (e.g., 00:01:15,000 --> 00:01:18,500). This structure allows viewers to read along with audio-visual content in various languages.
