Squat Jump
A squat jump is a plyometric exercise that involves lowering the body into a squat position and then explosively jumping upward. It engages the muscles in the legs, hips, and core, helping improve strength, power, and explosive movement. To perform it correctly, you bend your knees and hips, keep your back straight, then push off the ground with your legs to jump vertically, landing softly back into the squat position. This exercise is often used in training to enhance athletic performance, increase muscular endurance, and develop fast-twitch muscle fibers.
