Split Custody
Split custody is a child custody arrangement where siblings are divided between parents. This means that each parent has legal and physical custody of at least one child, rather than all children living together with one parent. This arrangement can occur in situations where parents are unable to reach a mutual agreement on custody, or where it's deemed in the best interests of the children. While it allows each parent to maintain a relationship with at least one child, it can also present challenges in terms of sibling separation and the complexity of coordinating schedules.
