SPACEHAB
SPACEHAB was a company and modular space habitat used primarily during NASA's Space Shuttle missions. It provided a dedicated area aboard the shuttle for research, experiments, and storage, acting as a kind of laboratory or mini-ecosystem in space. Its design allowed scientists to perform experiments in microgravity conditions more efficiently by supplying additional space, power, and environmental control. SPACEHAB's modules were integrated with the shuttle, facilitating smoother operations during missions. It contributed significantly to scientific and technological advancements by enabling extended research in orbit before the International Space Station became the primary platform for such work.
