Soccer (Football)
Soccer, known as football outside North America, is a team sport played between two teams of eleven players each. The objective is to score goals by getting a spherical ball into the opposing team's net. The game is played on a rectangular field, traditionally grass, with a goal at each end. Players primarily use their feet to control and move the ball, but goalkeepers can use their hands within the penalty area. A match consists of two halves, usually lasting 45 minutes each, and is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game.
