Skull

The skull is the bony structure that forms the head in humans and many animals. It serves several vital functions: protecting the brain, supporting the face, and housing the structures of the eyes, ears, and mouth. Comprised of 22 bones, the skull is divided into two main parts: the cranium, which encases the brain, and the facial bones, which give shape to the face. The skull also contains cavities for the sinuses and helps in the development of teeth. Overall, it plays a crucial role in protecting our neurological functions and providing structural support.
