Sitting Volleyball Rules
Sitting volleyball is played on a smaller court with a lower net, where players must keep their buttocks in contact with the floor when they hit the ball. The game features two teams of six players each, aiming to score points by hitting the ball over the net into the opponent's court within three touches. Unlike standing volleyball, players move by sliding on the floor, and quick, agile movements are essential. The ball must not be caught or held, and rallies continue until the ball lands out or a team commits a fault, such as a double contact or net violation.
