Sisodia dynasty

The Sisodia dynasty was a prominent Rajput ruling family of Mewar, in present-day Rajasthan, India, from the 12th to 16th centuries. Known for their valor, chivalry, and strong resistance to invasions, they shaped regional politics and culture. The dynasty's rulers built impressive forts, promoted art and architecture, and fiercely protected their independence against external powers, including the Delhi Sultanate and later the Mughals.
