Siphon

A siphon is a device that transfers liquid from one container to another, typically at a lower elevation, using gravitational force and atmospheric pressure. It involves filling a tube with liquid, then placing one end in the higher container and the other in the lower one. When the tube is sealed at the top and initially filled, gravity causes the liquid to flow downhill, continuing the movement as long as the outlet end remains lower than the inlet and the tube remains filled. Siphons are commonly used in operations like draining liquids without pumps.
