SI Base Units
SI Base Units are the standard measurements used worldwide to quantify fundamental physical quantities. There are seven of these units: the meter for length, kilogram for mass, second for time, ampere for electric current, kelvin for temperature, mole for amount of substance, and candela for luminous intensity. These units form the foundation for all other measurements and ensure consistency and accuracy in science, engineering, and everyday life. They are universally recognized, allowing clear communication and comparison of data across different fields and countries.
