Shoulder Arthroscopy
Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to diagnose and treat various shoulder problems. During the procedure, a surgeon inserts a small camera, called an arthroscope, through tiny incisions in the skin. This allows them to see inside the shoulder joint and identify issues such as torn ligaments, cartilage damage, or bone spurs. The surgeon can also use small tools to repair these problems. This technique typically results in less pain, quicker recovery, and minimal scarring compared to traditional open surgery.
