Shingrix (recombinant zoster vaccine)

Shingrix is a vaccine designed to protect adults aged 50 and older from shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the reactivation of the chickenpox virus. It contains small pieces of the virus to stimulate your immune system without causing illness. After vaccination, your body develops protection to reduce the risk of developing shingles and its complications.
