Shibli Nomani (1857-1914) was a prominent Indian Islamic scholar, educator, and writer known for his contributions to Urdu literature and Islamic thought. He played a crucial role in the revival of Islamic intellectualism and was a key figure in the Aligarh Movement, which sought to modernize Muslim education in India.
