Shakespeare's Globe
Shakespeare's Globe is a modern reconstruction of the original Globe Theatre, built in 1599 in London, where many of William Shakespeare's plays were performed. The replica, completed in 1997, is located near the original site along the River Thames and serves as a working theater and cultural venue. It aims to provide an authentic experience of Shakespearean theatre, showcasing his works in a similar style to how they would have been presented in the 16th century. The Globe also offers educational programs and exhibitions about Shakespeare's life and the Elizabethan era.
