Shah Karim al-Husayni

Shah Karim al-Husayni, also known as the Aga Khan IV, is the spiritual leader of the global Ismaili Muslim community, a minority branch within Islam. Born in 1936, he has served as the 49th Imam since 1957, guiding millions of followers worldwide. Beyond religious leadership, he is a prominent philanthropist and advocate for development, education, and cultural preservation in diverse regions, especially in Asia and Africa. His work aims to improve social and economic conditions while fostering understanding and interfaith dialogue.
