Session RPE (Rate of Perceived Effort) is a method to measure how hard a workout feels to an individual. After completing a training session, the person rates their overall effort on a scale, typically from 0 (no effort) to 10 (maximum effort). This subjective rating helps coaches and athletes understand the intensity of the session without relying solely on metrics like heart rate or speed. It provides a simple way to monitor training load, adjust future workouts, and prevent overtraining by assessing perceived effort in real-time.
