Sensory Cortex

The sensory cortex is a part of the brain located at the top and slightly back of the brain called the parietal lobe. It processes information from our senses, such as touch, temperature, pain, and body position. When you feel something, like a hot cup or a gentle touch, the sensory cortex interprets these signals to help you understand what you're experiencing. It works together with other parts of the brain to give you a detailed awareness of your body and surroundings, enabling you to react and interact effectively.
