Seizure Management

Seizure management involves taking steps to ensure the safety and well-being of someone experiencing a seizure. Key actions include protecting the person from injury by moving sharp objects away, gently guiding them to the ground, and placing them on their side to help with breathing. It's important not to restrain them or put anything in their mouth. Timing is crucial; if the seizure lasts more than five minutes or if another occurs soon after, seek medical help. Afterward, stay with the person until they are fully alert, as they may be confused or tired.
