Search Institute

Search Institute is a nonprofit organization dedicated to understanding what helps young people thrive. They research and identify key social, emotional, and psychological assets—called "developmental assets"—that foster positive growth, resilience, and success. Using this knowledge, they develop programs, resources, and tools for schools, communities, and families to support healthy youth development. Their goal is to create environments where young people can reach their full potential and lead meaningful, productive lives.
