Scorpius

Scorpius, also known as Scorpius or Scorpio, is a prominent constellation in the southern sky, representing a scorpion from mythology. It contains the bright star Antares, often called the "heart of the scorpion," which is a red supergiant. The constellation spans a large area and is best visible during summer in the Northern Hemisphere. It includes many interesting celestial objects, such as star clusters and nebulae, making it a favorite for both amateur and professional astronomers. Scorpius's distinctive shape and rich star field help identify it easily among the night sky.
