Sclerotherapy Technique
Sclerotherapy is a minimally invasive medical procedure used to treat varicose and spider veins. A healthcare professional injects a special solution, called a sclerosant, directly into the affected veins. This solution irritates the lining of the vein, causing it to collapse and eventually be absorbed by the body. Over time, the treated veins fade or disappear, improving the appearance of the skin and reducing symptoms like swelling or aching. The procedure typically takes less than an hour, involves minimal discomfort, and usually requires little to no downtime.
