Santísima Trinidad (ship)

The Santísima Trinidad was a Spanish warship launched in 1769, known as one of the largest wooden ships ever built. It served mainly in the Spanish Navy during the Age of Sail and participated in notable naval battles, including the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. The ship was armed with more than 100 guns and was renowned for its size and firepower. Despite its impressive capabilities, it faced challenges in battle and was ultimately captured and later sank. The Santísima Trinidad symbolizes both the maritime power of Spain in the 18th century and the era's naval warfare technology.
