Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers

Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers (1854–1918) was a British occultist, translator, and influential figure in the early 20th-century esoteric movement. He is best known for his role in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society focused on magic, mysticism, and spiritual development. Mathers contributed significantly to the revival of Western occult traditions, including the study of Kabbalah and Tarot.
