Samuel Hahnemann

Samuel Hahnemann was a German physician born in 1755 who founded homeopathy, a system of alternative medicine. He believed that substances causing symptoms in healthy people could, in tiny amounts, help treat similar symptoms in the sick—an idea called "like cures like." Hahnemann also emphasized individualized treatment and used highly diluted remedies. His approach aimed to stimulate the body's own healing powers. Though controversial and debated within medicine, Hahnemann's work laid the foundation for homeopathy, which remains a popular complementary health practice worldwide.
