Saint Therese of Lisieux

Saint Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as "The Little Flower," was a French Carmelite nun who lived in the late 19th century. Renowned for her humility and deep love for God, she emphasized "small acts of kindness" and trusting God's love as ways to achieve spiritual growth. Despite her early death at 24, her writings, especially "The Story of a Soul," have inspired many with her message of simplicity, devotion, and the idea that everyday actions can be meaningful in the divine plan. She was canonized as a saint in 1925 and declared a Doctor of the Church in 1997.
