Saint Josemaría Escrivá
Saint Josemaría Escrivá (1902–1975) was a Spanish priest and founder of Opus Dei, a Catholic institution that encourages people to find holiness in their everyday work and lives. He emphasized the importance of integrating faith with daily activities and believed that everyone, not just clergy, could achieve sanctity through their professional and personal lives. Escrivá advocated for the dignity of labor and the spiritual value of ordinary tasks. He was canonized by Pope John Paul II in 2002, and his teachings continue to inspire many around the world to live out their faith in practical ways.
