Safeguarding Board

A Safeguarding Board is a collaborative organization primarily concerned with protecting vulnerable individuals, especially children and adults at risk of harm. It brings together various agencies, including social services, health authorities, and law enforcement, to share information and coordinate efforts. The board develops policies, protocols, and training to ensure safe practices, conducts reviews of incidents to learn from them, and promotes awareness of safeguarding issues in the community. Its ultimate goal is to prevent abuse and neglect while ensuring that individuals receive appropriate support and care.
