Sacred Conclave
A Sacred Conclave refers to a gathering of high-ranking officials or leaders, typically in a religious context. Most famously, it is the assembly of Cardinals in the Roman Catholic Church that convenes to elect a new Pope following the death or resignation of the previous one. During this secretive meeting, which takes place in the Sistine Chapel, Cardinals deliberate and vote until a new Pope is chosen. The term can also apply to other religious councils or gatherings where important decisions are made, but it is most often associated with the papal election process.
