Ryff Scales of Psychological Well-Being

The Ryff Scales of Psychological Well-Being are a set of questions designed to measure different aspects of a person’s mental and emotional health. They assess six key areas: self-acceptance, having a positive attitude toward oneself; personal growth, feeling fulfilled and developing as a person; purpose in life, having meaningful goals; environmental mastery, managing life effectively; autonomy, being independent and true to oneself; and positive relationships, maintaining quality connections with others. These scales help understand how well someone is functioning psychologically and support efforts to improve overall well-being.
