Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF)

The Rwandan Patriotic Front (RPF) is a political and military organization founded in 1987 by Rwandans, primarily Tutsi refugees, to address issues facing their community. It played a key role in ending the 1994 Rwandan Genocide by overthrowing the government responsible for mass atrocities. Today, the RPF is Rwanda’s ruling political party, guiding national policies and development efforts. It aims to maintain stability, promote economic growth, and foster unity among Rwandans, while also addressing past injustices and building a peaceful, inclusive society.
