Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture
The Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM) is a Moroccan organization dedicated to preserving, promoting, and developing Amazigh (Berber) language, culture, and identity. Established in 2001 by the Moroccan monarchy, it works to ensure Amazigh traditions, language, and history are recognized and integrated into Moroccan society. IRCAM supports cultural education, publishes research, and advocates for the rights of Amazigh communities. Its efforts contribute to fostering pride in Berber heritage and promoting linguistic diversity within Morocco and beyond.
