The Rosenthal Effect, also known as the Pygmalion Effect, is a psychological phenomenon where a person's expectations about someone else can influence the person's actual performance or behavior. For example, if a teacher believes certain students are more capable, they may unconsciously give those students more attention and encouragement, leading to better performance from those students. Essentially, our beliefs about others can shape their realities through subtle cues and interactions, creating a self-fulfilling cycle.
