Roma Language

Roma, or Romani, is a language spoken by the Romani people, an ethnic group with roots in northern India. The language comprises various dialects influenced by the regions where Romani people live, including countries in Europe and beyond. As a result, it has borrowed vocabulary from languages like Romanian, Hungarian, Spanish, and others. Romani is traditionally an oral language, but there are written forms as well. It reflects the rich culture and history of the Romani people and is a vital part of their identity, despite facing challenges such as discrimination and declining usage among younger generations.
