Robert Mugabe
Robert Mugabe was a Zimbabwean revolutionary leader who served as Prime Minister and later President from 1980 to 2017. Initially celebrated for fighting against British colonial rule and advocating for land reforms, his later years were marked by political repression, economic mismanagement, and hyperinflation, leading to widespread poverty. Mugabe’s government was criticized for human rights abuses and electoral fraud. Despite this, he maintained a significant support base. His leadership ended when he was ousted from power in a military coup in November 2017, leaving a complex legacy in Zimbabwe's history.
