Richard I

Richard I, known as Richard the Lionheart, was a king of England from 1189 to 1199. He was famed for his bravery and military skills, especially during the Crusades—religious wars fought in the Middle East. Despite being king, he spent most of his reign abroad, leading armies and fighting battles. His leadership earned him a reputation as a legendary warrior, but he also faced challenges at home, including disputes with his family. Richard’s reign is remembered for his courage and dedication to his beliefs, making him one of the most iconic medieval kings.
