Rice cooker
A rice cooker is an electric appliance designed to efficiently cook rice and other grains. It typically features a heating element, a cooking bowl, and a thermostat to regulate temperature. Once you add rice and water, the cooker heats up, cooking the rice evenly. When the water is absorbed or evaporated, the thermostat detects the temperature change, shutting off or switching to a warming mode to keep the rice at serving temperature. Modern rice cookers may also have settings for different rice types, steaming, or slow cooking, making meal preparation more convenient and consistent.
