Rheumatism

Rheumatism is a general term used to describe conditions that cause chronic pain, stiffness, and inflammation in the joints, muscles, and connective tissues. It isn’t a single disease but an umbrella for various disorders, including arthritis, which affect movement and comfort. These conditions can result from autoimmune responses, wear-and-tear, or other factors, leading to pain and reduced mobility. Symptoms may include swelling, tenderness, and fatigue. While some forms are manageable with medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes, they often require ongoing care to improve quality of life.
