Reynaud's phenomenon

Raynaud's phenomenon is a condition where small blood vessels in the fingers and toes overreact to cold or stress by narrowing, reducing blood flow. This causes affected areas to turn white or blue, feel cold or numb, and sometimes become red when circulation improves. It can occur on its own or with other autoimmune diseases. While often harmless, it can cause discomfort and, in severe cases, tissue damage. The condition is managed by protecting affected areas from cold, managing stress, and in some cases, medication to improve blood flow.
