Revolutionary Alliance

The Revolutionary Alliance was an organization founded in 1905 by Sun Yat-sen, aiming to overthrow China's Qing Dynasty and establish a republican government. It united various revolutionary groups, promoting ideas of modernization, national unity, and democracy. The alliance played a key role in mobilizing support and coordinating efforts that eventually led to the 1911 Xinhai Revolution, which ended imperial rule. Essentially, it served as a political and revolutionary umbrella, helping to transition China from a centuries-old monarchy to a republic.
