Revocation of Will
Revocation of a will refers to the legal process of canceling or invalidating a previously made will. This can occur in several ways, such as creating a new will that explicitly states the old one is revoked, physically destroying the old will, or if the testator (the person who made the will) gets married or divorced, which may affect the will's validity. Revocation ensures that the testator's current wishes are reflected in their estate plans and that outdated or conflicting documents do not create confusion upon their passing.
