Resource-Based View (RBV)
The Resource-Based View (RBV) is a management concept that explains how a company can achieve and sustain a competitive advantage by focusing on its unique resources and capabilities. These resources include things like skilled employees, proprietary technology, strong brand reputation, or valuable processes. RBV suggests that those firms with valuable, rare, difficult-to-imitate resources can outperform competitors because their internal strengths are hard to duplicate. Essentially, RBV emphasizes that a company's success depends on utilizing and developing its distinctive assets to create long-term value.
