Resin Transfer Molding (RTM)

Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) is a manufacturing process used to create composite materials, typically for lightweight, strong products like automotive parts or aerospace components. In RTM, dry fiber materials are first placed into a mold. Then, a liquid resin is injected into the mold under pressure, which saturates the fibers. Once the resin cures, it hardens and forms a solid part. This method allows for precise shaping and can be more efficient than traditional methods, as it often produces high-quality parts with less waste and in shorter production times.
