Reliance Petroleum

Reliance Petroleum was a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, one of India's largest conglomerates, primarily focused on oil refining and marketing. Established in the early 1990s, Reliance Petroleum played a significant role in India's energy sector by setting up a large refinery in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This refinery became one of the largest in the world, boosting India's capacity to process crude oil into various petroleum products. In 2002, Reliance Petroleum was merged into Reliance Industries, enhancing the parent company's position in the global oil market and supporting India's growing energy needs.
