Rasputin's influence
Rasputin was a Russian mystic whose reputation grew after gaining influence with the royal family, particularly Tsarina Alexandra, during the early 20th century. His perceived ability to heal Prince Alexei’s hemophilia and his spiritual advice made him a trusted advisor. However, his controversial behavior and growing power fueled suspicion, political unrest, and resentment among nobles and officials. Rasputin's presence contributed to instability in Russia’s government, undermining confidence in the monarchy, and ultimately played a role in the decline of the Romanov dynasty and the Russian Revolution.
