C.R. (Chengappa Reddy) Rajaji was an influential Indian leader, freedom fighter, and statesman known for his advocacy of civil liberties, education, and social reform. He served as the Governor-General of India, played a key role in drafting the Indian Constitution, and was a prominent member of the Indian National Congress and later the leader of the Indian National Congress (O). Rajaji was also a strong supporter of non-violent resistance inspired by Gandhi and was dedicated to promoting education, agriculture, and national unity. His contributions significantly shaped India’s post-independence development and democratic institutions.
