Radiation theory
Radiation theory refers to the study of how energy travels through space in the form of waves or particles. This includes visible light, heat, ultraviolet rays, and more, which can come from natural sources like the sun or artificial ones like light bulbs. Radiation is classified into ionizing (which can remove electrons from atoms and potentially cause damage, e.g., X-rays) and non-ionizing (which does not have enough energy to ionize atoms, e.g., radio waves). Understanding radiation helps us harness energy and develop technologies while also ensuring safety from harmful exposures.
