Racism in America
Racism in America involves unfair treatment or discrimination based on a person's race or ethnicity. It stems from historical inequalities, stereotypes, and biases that have led to disparities in opportunities, rights, and social acceptance for marginalized groups, especially Black communities. Racism can be explicit, like hate crimes, or implicit, influencing everyday interactions and decisions subconsciously. Addressing it requires acknowledging these injustices, promoting equality, and challenging prejudice at individual and systemic levels to create a fairer society for all.
