A "rabbit hole" refers to a situation where someone gets deeply engrossed in a particular topic or activity, often leading them to explore numerous related subjects in-depth. The term originates from Lewis Carroll's "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland," where Alice follows a rabbit and discovers a bizarre world. In general knowledge and the internet age, a rabbit hole can occur when researching a subject online, causing a person to delve into videos, articles, or discussions, often far beyond their original inquiry, sometimes resulting in hours of exploration and learning about unexpected or unrelated topics.
