Qum

Qum, often referred to as Qum in academic contexts, is a term related to ancient manuscript discoveries, particularly the Dead Sea Scrolls found near Qum in the 1940s and 1950s. These scrolls are significant because they contain some of the oldest known texts of the Hebrew Bible, dating back to around 250 BCE to 50 CE. The discovery of Qum provided invaluable insights into Jewish history, religion, and language during this period, and is considered one of the most important archaeological finds of the 20th century.
