Quiet Supersonic Transport (QueSST)
Quiet Supersonic Transport (QueSST) is a project aimed at developing a new commercial aircraft capable of flying faster than the speed of sound, similar to the Concorde, but with significantly reduced noise and environmental impact. Using advanced aerodynamics and engine technology, QueSST is designed to minimize sonic booms—loud noise blasts caused by supersonic travel—making supersonic flight more acceptable over land. The goal is to enable faster travel between destinations while addressing community concerns related to noise pollution, ultimately making high-speed, long-distance travel more practical and environmentally friendly.
